OUR BOATS

We are super-proud of our wonderful fleet of narrowboats. Designed and built in-house they feature, as standard, trend-setting reverse* layouts so that you can cruise socially together. We took advantage of the Covid lockdowns to completely re-engine the fleet with the latest low emissions marine diesel engines with super-silent exhausts. All the living areas have been completely refurnished in a stylish blue with matching carpets. We’ve even added reclining leatherette armchairs to our smallest 2/4 berth boats! All of our boats visit the paint shed every winter - we are regarded as having amongst the smartest narrowboats on the canals!

* a ‘reverse’ layout is very sociable, and is very popular with our regular hirers. It means that the galley and living areas are at the back of the boat, nearest the steerer, unlike the boats of most of our competitors. This means that you are all together - no calling from one end of the boat to the other as a lock approcahes or tea is required! (There is still a front cockpit with seats and the boats all have a front cabin if you prefer to sit indoors to watch your progress from the bows…)
